An antique Edo era textile in excellent condition, repurposed into a Bomber . Hand embellished with red thread to highlight the giant blossoms & re-enforced with an all over grid of Sashiko.
Originally, the base cloth would have been a dark Indigo, however with the passing of time over many decades,  fading has resulted  in a mid blue - Hanada-iro. These colors cannot be bought, you must live it. 
The sleeves are vintage plaid boro. Also in excellent condition. Both textiles are 100% cotton.
Lining is vintage printed silk in bright blossoms.
The rib is never used,  Military surplus flight jacket trim of 100% wool.  Excellent, hard wearing quality.
